Who is Lane Line Threads?

Lane Line Threads is a small, female swimmer-owned brand that makes eco-friendly apparel with a splash of humor and a lot of heart.

We design for competitive swimmers, swim coaches, swim moms, and fans of the sport who care about comfort, sustainability, and making a statement (without saying a word).

Every product is ethically made with organic, recycled, or biodegradable materials — because the planet deserves a personal best too.

What makes Lane Line Threads eco-friendly?

We go beyond just buzzwords. Here's what we mean when we say sustainable:

  • GOTS-certified organic & recycled fabrics
  • Water-based inks
  • Minimal, recyclable packaging
  • Made in ethical facilities that reduce water and energy waste
  • Every item sold contributes $1 to Oceana

Our mission: to create swim-inspired clothing that’s as kind to the Earth as it is comfortable on your skin.

Who makes your shirts?

We partner with ethical production houses committed to fair wages, safe conditions, and sustainable practices.

Some of our apparel is made in the U.S., and some in WRAP-certified factories abroad. We’ve vetted all our partners to align with our eco and ethical values.

Why should I buy an organic shirt instead of a regular one?

Great question — and we get it, organic shirts can cost a little more upfront.

But here’s the difference:

  • First of all, here at Lane Line Threads, we deeply believe that as swimmers, we should be the first to care for and protect our beloved element.
  • Our organic swim shirts are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, meaning no toxic pesticides or harsh chemicals.
  • They're gentler on sensitive skin, longer-lasting, and biodegradable at the end of their life.
  • Basic shirts? They often rely on plastic-based fibers and fast fashion practices.

When you buy a Lane Line Threads shirt, you’re not just getting comfort — you're backing ethical labor, clean oceans, and better air.

And that’s worth diving into.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide to most countries. Shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated at checkout. Keep in mind that customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your location.

How long does shipping take?

All items are made to order in a sustainable way, which means they take 1–3 business days to handcraft before shipping. For the most accurate processing times, please refer to each individual product page.

Estimated Shipping Times:

  • USA: 3–8 business days
  • Canada: 5–12 business days
  • Europe: 3–10 business days
  • Rest of the World: 7–20 business days (depending on customs clearance)

Note: These are estimated timeframes and may vary due to factors like shipping carrier delays, customs, or product availability. We always work hard to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Once your order ships, you'll get tracking info via email so you can follow its journey from our lane to your lane.

What if I don’t like my swimmer shirt or it doesn’t fit?

We get it — buying clothes online is tricky. If something doesn’t feel right, just contact us within 14 days of delivery.

But, keep in mind, at Lane Line Threads, we’re passionate about mindful shopping and sustainable living. That means we aim to reduce overproduction and transportation emissions; therefore, we don’t accept returns for reasons like:

  • A change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong size

Please double-check product details and sizing charts before purchasing, and feel free to contact us with any questions before checkout.

We want you to love what you wear, or we’ll make it right.

How do I care for my organic clothes?

Organic fabrics deserve a little TLC.

  • Machine wash cold

  • Tumble dry low or air dry

  • Wash with like colors

That’s it! Following these simple steps keeps your clothes feeling fresh and looking great for seasons to come.

What’s up with the funny slogans?

Glad you noticed. Swimming is serious — but your clothes doesn’t have to be.

Our swim-themed humor is designed to make swimmers, coaches, and parents laugh out loud (and maybe even start a poolside conversation). It’s performance meets personality.

Still have questions?
