Who is Lane Line Threads?
Lane Line Threads is a small, female swimmer-owned brand that makes certified organic apparel with a splash of humor and a lot of heart for swimmers' skin.
We design for competitive swimmers, swim coaches, swim moms, and fans of the sport who care about skin health, recovery comfort, sustainability, and want to make a statement (without saying a word).
Every product is ethically made with organic, recycled, or biodegradable materials because the planet deserves a personal best too.

What makes Lane Line Threads eco-friendly?
We go beyond just buzzwords. Here's what we mean when we say sustainable:
- GOTS-certified organic & recycled fabrics
- Water-based inks
- Minimal, recyclable packaging
- Made in ethical facilities that reduce water and energy waste
- Every item sold contributes $1 to Oceana
Our mission: to create swim-inspired clothing that’s as kind to the Earth as it is comfortable on your swimmers' skin.

Who makes your shirts?
We partner with ethical production houses committed to fair wages, safe conditions, and sustainable practices.
Some of our apparel is made in the U.S., and some in WRAP-certified factories abroad. We’ve vetted all our partners to align with our eco and ethical values.

Why should I buy a Lane Line Threads organic shirt instead of a regular one?
If you’re a swimmer, you can’t ignore what touches your skin after practice.
After time in chlorinated water, your skin barrier is temporarily compromised.
Chlorine, prolonged moisture exposure, and friction from suits can leave it dry, reactive, and more prone to irritation. What you put on your body next matters.
Here’s the difference:
1. Organic cotton is gentler on post-swim skin
Lane Line Threads shirts are made from certified organic cotton, which is breathable, soft, and free from harsh chemical residues often found in conventionally processed fabrics. When your skin is already stressed from chlorine, you don’t want additional irritants.
2. Breathability supports skin recovery
Cheap synthetic blends can trap heat and moisture. That creates friction and prolongs that tight, itchy feeling swimmers know too well. Organic cotton allows airflow, helping your skin regulate temperature and dry comfortably after practice.
3. Reduced friction = less irritation
Post-swim skin is more sensitive to rubbing, especially around the shoulders, neckline, and underarms. Our shirts are designed for softness and comfort, minimizing abrasive contact while your skin resets.
4. Built for swimmers’ real life
Lane Line Threads is recovery-aware clothing created by a swimmer, for swimmers. We understand the silent shift that happens when regular clothes start feeling “off” after practice.
5. Long-term value vs. short-term savings
A cheap shirt may cost less upfront, but if it causes irritation, overheating, or discomfort after every swim, it’s not actually serving you. Investing in skin-conscious fabric means fewer flare-ups, less distraction, and more comfort between sessions.
If your skin feels different after swimming, that’s not in your head.
And what you wear afterward can either support recovery or work against it.
Lane Line Threads shirts are made to support your skin when it needs it most.

How do I care for my organic clothes?
Organic fabrics deserve a little TLC.
- Machine wash cold
- Tumble dry low or air dry
- Wash with like colors
That’s it! Following these simple steps keeps your clothes feeling fresh and looking great for seasons to come.

What’s up with the funny slogans?
Glad you noticed. Swimming is serious, but your clothes doesn’t have to be.
Our swim-themed humor is designed to make swimmers, coaches, and parents laugh out loud (and maybe even start a poolside conversation).
Time when performance meets personality.
