Follow our care guide to keep your organic headwear looking fresh, season after season

Washing:

  • Hand Wash: Fill a sink with cool water and add a small amount of mild detergent.
  • Soak: Submerge the cap and gently agitate the water.
  • Spot Clean: Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub any soiled areas.
  • Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water until all detergent is removed.
  • Air Dry: Pat the cap dry with a towel and reshape it before letting it air dry completely.

Drying:

  • Air Dry Only: Avoid using a machine dryer, as it can damage the hat.
  • Reshape: Reshape the cap while it's drying to help it maintain its original form.

Other Tips:

  • Spot Cleaning: For oily stains, try sprinkling cornstarch or talcum powder on the stain, letting it sit, and then brushing it away.
  • Storage: Store the cap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and damage.

Find out how your order will be packed

At Lane Line Threads, we take care of your gear—and the planet it depends on.

Every order is thoughtfully packed to arrive safely and sustainably, using the most eco-friendly materials available in each region.

For our North American swimmers, we’ve made the switch to poly mailers made with 90–100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.

Single-item orders are shipped directly in the mailer, while multi-item orders include an inner protective bag for added care.

In Australia, we proudly ship using compostable eco-mailers.

For Japan and China, we currently use standard mailers while we continue searching for greener local solutions.

Our goal is simple: reduce environmental impact while keeping your gear secure and ready for action.

Because sustainability doesn’t stop at the pool’s edge—it’s in every detail, right down to the packaging.

Navy blue organic cotton baseball cap with a visible brand label on a white background

Organic cotton: cool head, fast splits

100% Organic OCS (Organic Content Standard) Certified Cotton

Hot pool decks, long meets, and blazing summer sun — swimmers know the heat is real.

Our organic cotton headwear is naturally breathable and moisture-absorbing, keeping your head cool and comfortable without that sticky polyester sweat-trap feeling.

It’s the difference between “ugh, get this off me” and “yep, I could wear this all day.”

Caps that don’t quit, even after a hundred pool decks

Self-fabric adjustable closure with a brass slider and hidden tuck-in

Every swimmer knows the struggle of a cap that won’t stay put — sliding around on a wet head, scratching at your neck with Velcro, or flapping in the wind between heats.

That’s why our organic cotton headwear is designed with a self-fabric adjustable closure, a brass slider, and a hidden tuck-in.

The result? A smooth, secure fit that feels good, looks clean, and stays in place no matter how many laps, meets, or sun-soaked pool days you put it through.

No more sweaty polyester helmets pretending to be hats

Sweat-Friendly Inner Band

Even outside the pool, swimmers sweat.

That’s why our hats are built with an organic cotton inner band that absorbs moisture instead of trapping it.

No drips down your face, no funky odors, and no stiff synthetic lining — just fresh, dry comfort whether you’re under the sun or cheering from the stands.

Why Organic Cotton Headwear Beats Basic Caps — Especially for Swimmers?

We knew you’d ask.

Shade that doesn’t suffocate. Your scalp deserves better

Sun Protection That Breathes — Not Bakes

Swimmers spend hours under the sun — whether it is poolside meets or open water training.

Our organic cotton bucket hats and baseball caps offer shade without the sweat.

Unlike synthetic hats that trap heat, organic cotton is breathable and lightweight, keeping your head cool while shielding your face.

It’s sun-smart comfort for swimmers who’ve had enough of the post-practice sunburn shuffle.

No itch. No fade. Just soft, sustainable swagger

Gentle on Hair and Skin - so your hat feels good, looks good, and actually lasts through seasons of poolside living.

Chlorine, saltwater, and sun can leave skin feeling raw.

The last thing swimmers need is a scratchy, chemical-laced cap rubbing against their forehead.

Lane Line Threads’ organic cotton headwear is naturally soft, hypoallergenic, and free from toxic dyes — making it the perfect post-swim accessory for sensitive skin.

Plus, it’s built to last through seasons of wear, wash, and wander.

Eco-Friendly Style That Speaks Volumes

Yes, organic cotton costs more to grow and make, but here’s what you get: less water waste, no toxic pesticides, and gear you can feel proud wearing.

Choosing organic swim headwear means you’re protecting more than your face from the sun — you’re helping protect the oceans you swim in.
